God’s existence is a question which has confounded man since the beginning of time. The belief in a God appears innate. The belief in a supreme being, more powerful than man, is ubiquitous. If this belief is so ingrained in man, why is it so difficult for mankind to believe when confronted with the overwhelming evidence found in scripture? Proof of God was written to prove that God exists. Through the use of statistical analysis, the universe of people meeting the criteria established by the scriptures for the Messiah is winnowed to one. Further proof is offered by analyzing Old Testament prophecies and demonstrating how those prophecies were fulfilled through eyewitness testimony presented in the New Testament. The prophecies and fulfilling depositions lead to the logical conclusion that God exists. It is up to each individual who reads these accounts to accept that fact.

I got this book with the intention of supporting my witnessing. When involved with people in a conversation about living a Christ centered life, I found it hard to provide specific examples of why Jesus was the messiah. I should say Im a young Christian and have been in the faith about a year. This book looks at that exact relationship between Old Testament prophesy and the testimonials provided by Jesus' disciples. The book looks at a step by step explantion of why Jesus was the son of God.Do you have a resistent non beleiever around you that you are trying to bring to Christ? Are they one of those people that wants to validate and quantify a savior, or God through math or science? You're in luck, this book actually provides a mathemetical formula to calculate the actual likelihood that Jesus was in fact the messiah. Hows that for validation?
This will be a quick read. For a dedicated reader, youll be done in no more than a few hours.
Ok, On to set backs. This book is apparently digitally published only. So, if you like this and want to add it to your book shelf, sorry that wont be happening. This is one of my problems with reading Kindle books, its not the device/App just the fact that theres no hard copy. Im not always wanting to have to look at the tablet screen. I should say, I use the Kindle APP, and I read this through the APP on my Xoom. Id recommend this for traditional printing, I would love to give the book as a gift.
Secondly, the scripture references are ALL KJV translation, so every so often I would need my NLT or NIV bible with me to turn the corner on comprehension. Too many "thee's" and "thou shalt's" get in the way of my understanding. After Im done reading, I will continue to use this book for reference, and as a tool for fact based witnessing in the name of Jesus Christ.
