Can the citizens of Darrick survive the blizzard and the three strangers?"After the Snowfall" is the second book I've read from Mr. Alaspa and, while it's not horror, I found myself glued to the screen anticipating what fate the next page held for the citizens of Darrick. The author switches point of views throughout the story (some find this style of writing distracting) which helped develop the story and show what the different characters were doing.
How can I forget the storm itself. It plays a big part in the story and without it the suspense of the tale would be diminished.
After the Snowfall: A Thriller is a good psychological thriller well worth your time.

A great read! Alaspa takes the reader into the conflict and to the resolution from different points of view, adding a wonderful psychological element to an already gripping thriller. Very well-crafted story.
I really felt that the well developed characters talked to me through their plight. It is a chilling story.
This is a great read for the . With After the Snowfall, Bryan Alaspa has delivered again with a suspenseful thriller. I could not stop reading it. The weather itself is a major character - however, antagonist or protagonist? You be the judge.
Curl up by the fire on a long winter's night - or any time of year for that matter - and be an eyewitness to both good and evil.
The 124 pages kept me on the edge of my seat. Within the 124 pages I loved the story telling and I cared about the characters.
I enjoyed the book but found the few spelling errors to be irritating as they threw me off.
The book itself is well written especially in the areas where the big events are taking place the detail is outstanding on what is happening to the individuals in the main scenes between angel, ed, warren and wits. There were other areas that could of been expanded on and the ending left me with a few unanswered questions but it was an easy read.
This is the first book I have read by this author. It really is a very good, albeit bloody, thriller. I think the author did an excellent job of fleshing out the characters. The book certainly kept my interest right to the end. I definitely would recommend this one if you enjoy thrillers (and don't mind some blood and violence). I read the version and it was rife with typos and other errors. Fortunately for me, I can usually get past that. I do hope corrections will be made to the version...and I hope that the author will find a better proof-reader!
